On Saturday, October 24th Byron High School presents “BHS Haunted Halls”! Come and join in on the fun! From 5:00 – 6:30 p.m. the lights will be ON for the “not scary” walk-through or come from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. for the lights OFF “much scarier” version! Admission cost is $5.00 OR you can bring an item for the Byron Food Pantry as your admission.
Student Council has hidden 25 jack-o-lanterns in various spots around BMS and when they're gone, they're gone. If you find one, take it AND a friend to the office for a sweet treat during this week only. Candy will ONLY be given during passing periods and students should NOT be hunting for pumpkins during class times. If you find more than one, please leave it in its spot or share it with someone else. Please don't claim more than one pumpkin.
Boys basketball season is getting started! If your child is interested in participating in basketball, please review the information below to get registered. Also please join the SportsYou codes below for more information from coaches.
How to Register Your Child for all sports:
Please follow these step-by-step directions to complete the registration process:
1.Log on to:
https://accounts.snap.app/login?redirectTo=https://manage.snap.app/register/byron/dashboard/home
2. Create an account (continue to next step if you’ve created an account in the system previously).
3. Log in to your account & click Begin Registration to follow prompts. You will need to Add Participant’s Name
& ID # on initial login. If ID is unknown, please enter 1111 temporarily.
4. Select the Activity being registered for. Complete all required fields & click Save.
5. On the next screen you must print out & complete the Physical Form, and have it signed & dated where
indicated by the student, parent/guardian, & physician performing the exam. Send the physical form to the
office with your student.
6. Acknowledge all required documents have been read & accepted by BOTH the student and the
parent/guardian. Click Next. If both boxes are not checked, you will not be allowed to continue.
7. On the Registration Summary screen, click the “Submit” button. You will receive a confirmation email from no-reply@8to18.com.

There will be NO FFA meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, October 21st. Ms. Ebens will be out of town but get excited for our next CDE competitions Agronomy and Dairy Products.

Register for teen programs at the Byron Public Library!
Sign up for the Hocus Pocus movie (Tuesday, October 20th), Volunteens - making pet blankets (Monday, November 9th), Winter Crafts (Thursday, November 19th) and Dungeons & Dragons (on Wednesdays) on the library website. In addition, a Bristlebot Grab & Go kit will be available (Tuesday, November 3rd) that does not require registration, but is first-come, first-served.
After-School Teen Time at the Byron Public Library is from 3:00 – 5:00 pm Mondays through Thursdays. No registration necessary- just show up when your schedule allows it!
