There’s a limited supply of yearbooks available to purchase from last school year. The cost is $25 (cash

or check to BMS) and can be purchased in the middle school office.

After School Program starts Monday, August 31st. ASP will be running all year Monday through Thursday. There will be a 4:00 bus available to take all students home regardless of whether or not they are regular bus riders.

Individuals interest in learning about participating in Chess Club should plan to attend the first meeting on Monday, 8/31. The meeting will be from 3:20 - 4:00 in the STEM Lab, Room 700/702. Students are welcome to report to this location immediately after school with everything they need to go. Students staying with a teacher should report directly to the meeting when with their go home items as well. There will be a 4:00 bus for students who need transportation. Student Council's first meeting of the year will be Tuesday, September 1st at 7:15 AM in Ms. Free's classroom. Please join the SportsYou group if you are interested in becoming a member. Next FFA meeting will be Wednesday, September 2nd. Forestry CDE contest will be afterschool on Wednesday, September 16th and Horse Judging Contest will be Saturday, September 19th. Bus info for contests TBA.

The first Outdoor Adventure Club trip for the school year is a Variety Campout at Devils Lake State Park, Friday, September 4th at 3:00 thru Saturday, September 5th at 5:00 p.m. Cost for this trip is $40.00 and includes Camping Fees, Activities, Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks on Saturday. (Activities include Camping, a Night Hike, Day Hiking or Fishing). Registration forms are available for pickup in the office. The SportsYou code for this trip is GAHX-GYM4.

The first Art Club meeting will be Thursday, September 10th from 3:00 - 4:00 in the Art room. Please sign up in the office if you would like to attend. All students are welcome!

After-School Teen Time has started at the Byron Public Library! Teen Time runs from 3:00 – 5:00 pm on Mondays through Thursdays. No registration necessary- just show up when your schedule allows it for video games, VR, crafts and fun with your friends!
