8th grade Promotion will be held on Thursday, May 21st at 6:00 p.m. in the Byron High School Gym.
Last day of school is Friday, May 29th with dismissal at 11:00.
2025-2026 BMS yearbooks are on sale NOW for $25 (cash or check made payable to BMS) in the office (if you did not purchase one at registration). Yearbooks will be passed out in early August. The BHS softball program has an opportunity to play in a softball league this summer. This team will include incoming freshmen. Games are on Wednesday nights. If you are interested in playing, please see Mrs. Lawver in the office for an informational sheet with details.

For any 8th graders going on the Washington D.C. trip, there will be memorial rock painting for the trip at the Byron Public Library TOMORROW, Saturday, May 16th from 1:00 to 3:00. All supplies will be provided.
Student Council will have its final meeting of the school year on Tuesday, May 19th in Ms. Free’s room. If you plan on attending, please fill out the survey in Google Classroom to plan the right amount of breakfast.
The last Outdoor Adventure Club Trip for the school year is “ADVENTURE CAMP” at Silver Birch Ranch in Wisconsin Tuesday May 19th thru Thursday May 21st. Cost is $150.00 and includes meals and the following activities: Tubing, Horseback Riding, Zip Lining, Rock Climbing Wall, Leap of Faith, Fishing, Swimming and Boating, Archery, Air Soft Shooting, BB Guns, Volleyball, Basketball, Gaga Ball, Mini-Golf, Game Room, and Campfire Program. UNPLUG – EXPLORE – CREATE: Lowden State Park presents, ‘Together for Taft’ the ultimate nature-based hangout for ages 9 thru 14.
