Attention 8th Graders It is time to start to prepare for next year!!! Get Involved in High School!!!!.

Both applications can be found in your google classroom. You MUST apply for these individually; They are separate organizations in the High School.

Please let Mrs. Ebens know if you have any questions by emailing her at kebens@byron226.org or you can visit Ms. Ebens in the Ag room or Miss Smith in the 8th grade pod. Both were a part of student council and class officers in HS. I know they can answer your questions. ALL APPLICATIONS ARE DUE BY APRIL 24th

The Builders club will hold their monthly meeting TOMORROW, Friday, April 17, 3:00 – 4:00, in room 601. We will be making 2 string guitars for Blues in the Schools.

Next student council meeting moved to Tuesday, April 21st.

The next Art Club meeting will be Wednesday, April 22nd from 3:00 – 4:00 in the Art room. Sign up in the office if you would like to attend. All students are welcome.

FFA will be having a meeting next Wednesday, April 22nd, after school from 3:00 – 4:00 pm in the ag room. We will be discussing information for the rest of the year.

The next Outdoor Adventure Club trip is the “The Forge Lemont Quarries” on Saturday, April 25th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This is a new trip and the place looks AMAZING! They offer a Rock Climbing Wall, Zip-Lining, High Rope Climbing Course, Laser Tag, Mini-Golf, Axe Throwing, Archery and Kayaking!

Cost is $70.00 per person and at this time space is limited to the first 25 students. Permission slip and payment were due yesterday and registration is now closed. NO LATE REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AND FEE IS NON-REFUNDABLE. There is also a waiver on SportsYou that must be completed. SportsYou code: GAHX-GYM4.

Coach Baker will be at 8th grade lunch on Wednesday April 29th at 11:00 a.m. for a quick meeting for any boys that are interested in playing golf at the high school.

Attention all wrestlers, there is a wrestling camp taking place at Byron High School from June 8th - June 10th. Paperwork for this camp is available for pickup in Mr. Boyer’s room.
