The next Outdoor Adventure Club trip is SNOW CAMP in Silver Birch Ranch in Wisconsin, January 18th through 20th, 2026! The cost of this 3-day trip is $150.00 and includes your choice of Cross-Country Skiing, Horseback Riding, Snow Tubing, Ice Skating, Animal Ball, Power Tubing, Indoor Climbing wall, Campfire Program, Snow Boarding, Nature Hike, Game Room. Also includes cabin, Sunday evening snack, all meals on Monday, and breakfast on Tuesday morning.
Registration forms are available for pickup in the office. Forms and money are due by the end of the school day THIS Thursday, January 15th.
The January Builder's Club meeting will be held on Friday, January 16th, from 3:00 – 4:00 pm, in room 601. We will be discussing many upcoming projects that are planned for the semester.
Our off-campus volunteering opportunity will be on Monday, January 26th, from 3:00 – 5:00 pm, building bird houses for the Byron Forest Preserve.
The next Art Club meeting will be Wednesday, January 21st from 3:00-4:00 pm in the art room. Please sign up in the office if you would like to attend. All students are welcome.

Anyone interested in attending the student council workshop in Oregon on January 23rd needs to pick up a pink permission slip in the office. All permission slips must be returned by January 16th if you are wanting to attend.
Register for teen programs at the Byron Public Library! Sign up for Dungeons & Dragons (Wednesdays on the 14th, 21st & 28th) and Global Treats (Thursday, Jan. 29th) on the library website.
Sign up for the library's Winter Reading Challenge through Beanstack, which runs through February 15th. Reading books and attending teen events both count for credit, and there will be two grand prizes of $50 Amazon cards.
6th- 8th grade wrestling - Any students that are wrestling, practice will be in the Mary Morgan Cafeteria from 3:30-5:00 PM. Students will ride the transfer bus to Mary Morgan and wait in the cafeteria for their coaches.

6th grade girl’s basketball – Practice starts tonight and will be at the PE Center from 3:30-5:00 pm. Students will ride the transfer bus over to Mary Morgan and wait in the cafeteria for their coaches. There will be a Parent/Player meeting on Thursday, 1/15 from 5:00 - 5:15 at the PE Center.

PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS – 2025-26
1. Log on to: https://byron.8to18.com , Snap! Manage site.
2. Create an account (continue to next step if you’ve created an account in the system previously).
3. Log in to your account & click Begin Registration to follow prompts. You will need to Add Participant’s Name & ID # on initial login. If ID is unknown, please enter 1111 temporarily.
4. Select the Activity being registered for. Complete all required fields & click Save.
5. On the next screen, you may upload your completed Physical Examination Form, or you must print out & complete the Physical Form, and have it signed & dated where indicated by the student, parent/guardian, & physician performing the exam.
6. Acknowledge all required documents have been read & accepted by BOTH the student and the parent/guardian. Click Next. If both boxes are not checked, you will not be allowed to continue.
7. On the Registration Summary screen, click the “Submit” button.
