The next OAC Trip will be Downhill Skiing at Chestnut Mountain in Galena, IL on Friday, December 12th, 2025. Students will depart BMS at 1:45 PM and return to BMS at 10:00 PM. Cost of the trip this year is $35.00. Forms can be picked up in the office and will need to be returned no later than 12:00 PM on Tuesday, December 9th, 2025.
Registration is now open for Girls Basketball and Byron Middle School Wrestling (6th through 8th grades).
PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS – 2025-26
1. Log on to: https://byron.8to18.com , Snap! Manage site.
2. Create an account (continue to next step if you’ve created an account in the system previously).
3. Log in to your account & click Begin Registration to follow prompts. You will need to Add Participant’s Name & ID # on initial login. If ID is unknown, please enter 1111 temporarily.
4. Select the Activity being registered for. Complete all required fields & click Save.
5. On the next screen, you may upload your completed Physical Examination Form, or you must print out & complete the Physical Form, and have it signed & dated where indicated by the student, parent/guardian, & physician performing the exam.
6. Acknowledge all required documents have been read & accepted by BOTH the student and the parent/guardian. Click Next. If both boxes are not checked, you will not be allowed to continue.
7. On the Registration Summary screen, click the “Submit” button. You will receive a confirmation email from no-reply@8to18.com. This is open to any 6th, 7th, or 8th grader.

BMS Middle School Play- Charlotte’s Web
Auditions are Tuesday December 2nd and will begin at 6:00 PM at the Middle School Theater.
No preparation is required. This is a play, so no music is needed. If you are interested in a role, you will be asked to do a cold read. Callbacks will take place immediately following auditions. We anticipate finishing by 8:00–8:30 PM, depending on the number of participants. A tentative rehearsal schedule will be available at auditions. Next Wednesday, December 3, will be our winter choir concerts. The Middle School concert will be at 6:30 p.m., followed by the High School concert at 7:30 p.m. Both will be held at the BMS Theatre.

The High School Choir Department needs assistance with their Madrigal Dinner this year. They are looking for students to help with serving meals on December 14th from 1:00 - 4:30. If interested in helping, please email Mr. Jaworowski.
