Congratulations to the 7th and 8th grade Academic Bowl Teams! 8th grade beat Meridian last night with a score of 210 to 125. 7th Grade won with an impressive 210 to 65.
THERE WILL BE NO ACADEMIC BOWL PRACTICE TONIGHT! (TUESDAY 11/11)
Registration is now open for Girls basketball and Byron Middle School Wrestling (6th through 8th grades).
PARTICIPANT REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS – 2025-26
1. Log on to: https://byron.8to18.com , Snap! Manage site.
2. Create an account (continue to next step if you’ve created an account in the system previously).
3. Log in to your account & click Begin Registration to follow prompts. You will need to Add Participant’s Name & ID # on initial login. If ID is unknown, please enter 1111 temporarily.
4. Select the Activity being registered for. Complete all required fields & click Save.
5. On the next screen, you may upload your completed Physical Examination Form, or you must print out & complete the Physical Form, and have it signed & dated where indicated by the student, parent/guardian, & physician performing the exam.
6. Acknowledge all required documents have been read & accepted by BOTH the student and the parent/guardian. Click Next. If both boxes are not checked, you will not be allowed to continue.
7. On the Registration Summary screen, click the “Submit” button. You will receive a confirmation email from no-reply@8to18.com. This is open to any 6th, 7th, or 8th grader.

BMS Student Council is hosting a food drive from 11/10 to 11/25. The grade level that brings in the most donations will receive a sweet treat from student council. Bins can be found in each pod & all donations will be going to the BHS Food Pantry. Please consider helping out a great cause!
BMS Student Council is hosting a breakfast for our Veteran family members TODAY, November 11th. All students and staff are encouraged to wear red, white and blue to honor our Veterans.
The next middle school FFA meetings will be TOMORROW, Wednesday November 12th from 3:00 – 4:00 pm. Dairy Product judging contest will be that same day from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at Rochelle HS.
The next Outdoor Adventure Club outing is Roller Skating at The Rink in Mount Morris THIS Friday, November 14th from 3:00 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Cost is $15.00 per student and includes Skate Rental, Pizza, Nachos, Soda, Water & Slushies, DJ Games & Prizes and a Locker for personal belongings. Students MAY bring their own skates or rollerblades if they are CLEAN and in GOOD condition. Sign-up sheets are available for pickup in the office. Forms and money are due no later than Wednesday, November 12th.
