8th grade started things off with a score of 260 to 170. 7th grade followed with a score of 170 to 100. Way to go!
ATTENTION: If you ride a bicycle or E-bike to school, it must be parked in the bike racks – NO EXCEPTIONS!!! We highly recommend locking them up a well.

Student council is collecting pop tabs for the Ronald McDonald House. The grade level with the MOST pop tabs at the end of October will win technology (phones/laptops) at lunch for a week!
Student council members interested in ordering apparel can pick up an order form in the office. Money and order forms are due to Ms. Free by THIS Friday, October 24th.
Byron Civic Theatre presents Frozen Jr. this weekend! Location is Byron Middle School Theater. Showtimes are: Friday 10/24 - 7:00 pm; Saturday 10/25 - 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm; Sunday 10/26 - 2:00 pm. Tickets can be purchased online, at the park district, or at the box office the day of the show.
The next student council meeting is NEXT Tuesday October 28th at 7:00 AM (no meeting THIS week).
The Builder's Club is sponsoring a hat and glove drive for the Rockford Rescue Mission. They have created hygiene bags and need new women's and men's hats and gloves to complete the bags. The goal is to collect 20 women's hats and gloves and 20 men's. The collection will be held until November. All donations can be dropped off in the collection box outside the main office.
BMS would like to recognize or Veterans by creating a “Wall of Honor”. Please bring in a photo of your Veteran and include the form attached to these announcements. Form and photos can be turned in at the Middle School office or e-mailed to bwhite@byron226.org
