Chess Club membership is available to all middle school students. You do not need to attend every meeting to be part of Chess Club. Chess Club will meet Wednesday only this week in room 708 at 3:20 until 4:00. Students are welcome to report at 3:00 if they are not working with a teacher after school. Students may utilize the 4:00 PM bus for transportation home.
February programs at the Byron Public Library are now open for registration! Sign up for Volunteens (Monday, 2/3), Dungeons & Dragons (on Wednesdays), Chess Horizons (Tuesdays on 2/11 & 2/25), Cookies in a Mug (Thursday, 2/13), or Stenciled Tote Bags (Thursday, 2/27). Register through the library website.
Participate in the Byron Public Library's Winter Reading Challenge by reading five books and/or attending teen programs in January and February. Two winners will be chosen, each of whom will win a $50 Amazon card. Register through byron.beanstack.org or see Nancy for details.
Builder’s Club next meeting will be THIS Friday, Jan. 24th from 3:00 – 4:00.
The next Art Club meeting will be NEXT Tuesday, January 28th from 3:00-4:00 in the art room. Please sign up in the office if you would like to attend. All students are welcome.
If you are walking towards the high school after school, please walk in the designated areas, especially when crossing the railroad tracks. Walking behind the storage units and across the tracks while not on the sidewalk is dangerous.
