Spring Trap season is quickly approaching. New students interested in joining the team should contact Coach Oliver at poliver@byron226.org to verify all requirements are met for eligibility.

Attention yearbook members: If you are interested in taking pictures at girls basketball, wrestling, band, or choir concerts this semester, please check out the message and calendar in Google classroom and get your dates to Mrs. Bukoski by TODAY, Friday, January 17th. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Bukoski!

Horse Judging CDE is TOMORROW, Saturday 1/18. Bus leaves at 7:00 a.m.

February programs at the Byron Public Library are now open for registration! Sign up for Volunteens (Monday, 2/3), Dungeons & Dragons (on Wednesdays), Chess Horizons (Tuesdays on 2/11 & 2/25), Cookies in a Mug (Thursday, 2/13), or Stenciled Tote Bags (Thursday, 2/27). Register through the library website.

Participate in the Byron Public Library's Winter Reading Challenge by reading five books and/or attending teen programs in January and February. Two winners will be chosen, each of whom will win a $50 Amazon card. Register through byron.beanstack.org or see Nancy for details.

Want to attend a fun activity after school? TODAY, the high school music honor society students will be holding a game and karaoke event. It will be held in the middle school cafeteria from 3:00-4:00. Board games, cards, corn hole, and karaoke will be available at this free event.

The next Outdoor Adventure Club trip is: SNOW CAMP at SILVER BIRCH RANCH, January 19th, 20th, and 21st. Registration is now closed for this trip.

On your day off school next Monday the 20th, watch the musical The Greatest Showman at the Byron Public Library from 1:00 – 3:00 pm. Free popcorn will be available. No need to register, just head to the teen department with your friends!

Builder’s Club next meeting will be NEXT Friday, Jan. 24th from 3:00 – 4:00.

The BHS Library is looking for teams to participate in our Puzzles & Pajamas Fundraiser on Sunday, January 26th from 1:00 – 4:30 p.m. in the BHS Gym. The event is open to students, parents, staff and community members. Teams can have up to 4 members and the cost is $40. You can pick up a flyer and registration form in the library or on the school website.

The next Art Club meeting will be Tuesday, January 28th from 3:00-4:00 in the art room. Please sign up in the office if you would like to attend. All students are welcome.

If you are walking towards the high school after school, please walk in the designated areas, especially when crossing the railroad tracks. Walking behind the storage units and across the tracks while not on the sidewalk is dangerous.
