If you are walking towards the high school after school, please walk in the designated areas, especially when crossing the railroad tracks. Walking behind the storage units and across the tracks while not on the sidewalk is dangerous.

7th and 8th grade girls’ basketball will begin on Tuesday, January 7th. Practice will be at Byron Middle School from 3:20-5:00 p.m. A player and parent meeting will be held after practice on Tuesday, January 7th from 5:15-5:45 p.m. in the Byron Middle School Gym.
6th grade girls’ basketball will begin on Tuesday, January 7th. Practice will be at Byron PE Center from 3:20-5:00 p.m. Students will ride the transfer bus over to Mary Morgan for practice. Fill in Santa’s beard! Student Council is raising money for the state service project. All proceeds go to Feeding Illinois, an organization devoted to proving food for children of Illinois. Every donation helps to fill Santa’s beard.
Sign up for teen programs at the Byron Public Library! Register for the All-Day D&D Extravaganza (Saturday, Jan. 4th), a Book Box (Wednesday, Jan. 8th) D&D (on Wednesdays), and Volunteens (Monday, Jan. 13th) on the library website. As a reminder, there is no Teen Time until Monday, January 13th.
The next Outdoor Adventure Club trip is: SNOW CAMP at SILVER BIRCH RANCH, January 19th, 20th, and 21st . More information, Registration and Medical forms are available in the office. Completed registration forms and deposit are due by the end of the day Thursday, January 9th. Final Payment is DUE by the end of the day Thursday, January 16th – NO EXCEPTIONS!!!
