Mrs. Bukoski’s 7th grade SEL/Homeroom students recently completed a community service project. Each of the students chose a tie-blanket kit in a kid-friendly design and made the blanket on their own or with the help of their classmates. The students chose to have the blankets delivered to children currently in the hospital at Javon Bea Riverside in Rockford. Not only will a child in the hospital receive a blanket made especially for them, but the students in Mrs. Bukoski’s class were reminded how great it feels to do things for others.
